The Sosbes: Rayna {9 months}

Happy 9 months Rayna Elyse!

Measurements: You are still wearing size 3 diapers and 6-9, 6-12 & 9 month clothes. At your 9 month check up you measured 27.75 in long (56%) and weighed 18 lbs 3.5 oz (52%)

Sleeping: Still sleeping 11-12 hours at night and down to just one nap a day.

Eating: Still eating four 6 oz bottles (feeding herself two of them a day), oatmeal (twice a day), fruits (in the morning), and veggies (for dinner). New (second baby) foods this month: mango, kale, cucumber, corn, and also tried eggs & cheerios!

New Tricks/Activities/Accomplishments:

Got her very first haircut! Cannot believe she already needed one before a year old but she has always had so much hair and it was getting so long and stringy. Just got a little trim!
MAJORLY mobile...crawling FAST and pulling up on everything
Very clumsy which results in lots of falls and bobos :(
Scrunches nose all the time - new face!
Tilts head to the side and rests it on high chair
Copies me when I cough or grunt
Very aggressive
Shakes toys to hear them make noise
When she gets excited she bounces up and down shaking her arms
Went to Kynlee's 6th birthday party
Mastered the pouty lip this month! She is very sensitive when told no no (when spitting food or getting into something she should not be playing with).
Started putting her face in the water and tries to blow bubbles but most of the time just gets a mouth full of water lol
Trying to talk and mimic us...I have been working on mama but occasionally she will say ma but mostly dada... *first word - dada*
Started holding onto the couch and walking a little bit to get where she wants! I am NOT ready for this yet.
Her two bottom teeth FINALLY popped through. This month was full of LOTS of teething.
Stood alone for one solid second!

Likes: LOVES Rylee and her hair, pulling up on anything & everything to stand, bouncing, eating, swinging outside, playing with empty water bottles, picking up blocks and throwing them, screaming/yelling/growling/spitting, books, jewelry & Rylee's dress up clothes (we are guessing she will be our girly girl when she gets bigger), crawling/following us around the house, being outside, playing the 'pacifier game' (I put the end in my mouth and she rips it out laughing then gives it to me again to do over & over), Mickey Mouse (stops her in her tracks when it comes on), bathtime, throwing toys out of the bath, shake toys to make noise, playing on Daddy's back at nighttime, TLG,

Her new trick...after she eat she always tilts her head to the side. Silly girl!

Rayna's first haircut! She did wonderful. Here is the before, the first cut, and after! :)

Poor baby caught a nasty cold and has also been teething like crazy! Even though she is not feeling well she still manages to look just as cute as ever! :)
