The Sosbes: Rayna {5 months}

Happy 5 months, Rayna Elyse!

Measurements: You do not go back to the doctor until 6 months for your next checkup, shots, and measurements. You are wearing size 2 diapers. You are still wearing some size 3 month clothes but mostly 3-6 month clothes now since you are getting so much longer.

Sleeping: You are sleeping between 11-12 hours at night and still like to be swaddled tightly on your tummy. You nap about 3-4 times a day. First nap is about an hour after her first feeding, sometimes you take a short nap mid morning, and your longest nap is in the afternoon after lunch (luckily I have gotten you in the habit of napping at the same time as Rylee).

Eating: You are eating five bottles a day and they are 6 oz. All formula now. Will be starting cereal next month!!

New Tricks/Activities/Accomplishments:

You have started to try and hold the bottle on your own while eating (we still help but you are getting so strong)
Laughing out loud all the time (cutest sound ever)
Happy baby! Smiles all the time :)
Tries to stand all the time and sometimes you try to sit up with help from Mommy
Grabbing and holding onto everything (including Mommy's and Rylee's hair...she has cried several times this month when she leans in to give you sugars and you have grabbed handfuls of her hair lol)
You started rolling over from tummy to back at the end of this month!!
Scoots, turns, and kicks while doing tummy time
Started playing in your jungle gym exersaucer and walker (loves it)
Retired the swing since you were not a fan of it!

Likes:
You love swimming, bathtime, sitting up or tstanding up, your sister, playing peek-a-boo, being sung to/talked to, watching your sister, Mali, being outside, listening to Mommy or Rylee read books to you, people watching, chewing on your teething toys, playing/interacting more with your toys, going on walks, chewing/sucking on your fist/hand/fingers, watching Mickey Mouse, shopping as long as she can see what is going on.

Random:

Mommy & Daddy went on a weekend trip to Oklahoma while you and Rylee stayed the weekend with Granna!
Mommy is getting to spend a lot more one on one time with you since big sister started preschool three days a week.
Celebrated your first Labor Day
Celebrated Grandparents Day (while Granna kept you)
Met your Aunt Jennifer for the first time
Went to church for the first time and did great!!
Went to Lumberton to visit Granna & Pops and got sick with hand foot mouth :(
