The Sosbes: Rayna {4 months}

Happy 4 months Rayna Elyse!

Measurements: At your four month check up you measured 23.25 in long (7%) and weighed 13 lbs 8 oz (32%)! You just moved up to size 2 diapers at the end of this month (they are pretty big but size 1 was getting a little snug) and still wearing size 3 month clothes.

Sleeping: You are sleeping between 11-12 hours at night which is great! Since you are sleeping so long you have been waking up in the morning really wet and soaking through your pjs and sheets. Will be getting you some nighttime diapers soon! You still prefer to be swaddled tight and lay on your tummy. Your naps are a hit or miss most of the time sleeping about an hour at the most a few times a day (must be a growth spurt change).

Eating: You are eating five bottles a day and they are about 5-6 oz. We had to start supplementing formula this month with your breast milk since Mommy is not making enough anymore. You are doing great with it but it is giving your tummy a few problems. After this month you will be strictly on formula.

New Tricks/Activities/Accomplishments:

Had your first pedicure! Mommy painted your little piggies to match mine & Rylee's! Cutest thing EVER!!
Went to Rylee & Kate's birthday party at The Little Gym.
Had a daddy/daughter weekend while Mommy went out of town.
Sat in your highchair for the first time and LOVED it!
Reaching and grabbing pacifier/hair/toys in sight
Started picking up pacifier when it is close in reach and putting it in her mouth
Still has ALL of your hair and more! Rylee lost almost all of her hair at this age and you have not lost a single strand. LOVE your long crazy hair!!
Drools ALL day long!
Getting more vocal by the day and you love to hear yourself talk!
Getting better and stronger at tummy time
You like to copy us and blow spit bubbles all the time!

Likes:
You love being with everyone else, your playmat as long as you are propped up with the boppy pillow, splashing in the bathtub, your mobile, being held/carried around, sitting up in your highchair or bumbo chair (as long as we are nearby), being sung to by Mommy & Rylee, looking at yourself in the mirror, being tickled, watching Mickey Mouse with Rylee, your mobile, going on walks, watching Mali, chewing on your hands, and starring at the fish tank.

Dislikes:

You do NOT like the carseat (but you are getting better at it), your swing, waiting for your bottle to warm up, being by yourself, coming unswaddled at nighttime, or loud/unexpected noises (mostly from your sister).

Random:

Started gymnastics at The Little Gym with Miss Pat in the bugs class. You are the youngest one the class!
You are getting way more active and such a wiggle worm
Got your first diaper rash but luckily it went away quickly
