The Sosbes: May 2015

It is hard to believe Rylee is almost a three year old! I absolutely love my BIG girl so much. She is so much fun, full of spunk (as always), sweet as they come, and so much sass it is hard to handle at times. She is the life of the party and always brightens our day with her contagious laughter, silliness, and funny things she is always saying! She is growing up way too fast....just want to bottle her up sometimes and keep her this age forever!

Favorites: Rylee LOVES my little ponies/horses, hoarding her favorite stuffed animals in bed with her for nap and night time, reading books (favorites: Barnyard Dance and Jungle Run), playing outside, going 'bast' aka fast on anything and everything, going to The Little Gym every week, touching Mommy's tummy and saying 'Silly Rayon' when she moves, Toy Story, Frozen, carrying around her new pony purse everywhere, going fishing, playing soccer, playing softball, 'helping' daddy in the yard, seeing her family (CoCo, NayNay, cousins, Granna, Pops, MeeMe, Poppy, Granny, Tom Tom), swimming/splash pad/playing in water, being outside, thanks, I'm fine (when she falls down mostly on purpose), and her little sister (now that she is here)...always runs to her rescue if she starts crying and tries giving her a pacifier or blanket. She also is quick to come get me and say 'Mommy, help baby!' :)

Dislikes: being told no, going to time out, riding in carts in the store, thunderstorms (she thinks it is a monster and calls it a 'mar'), being told to use the potty before we go bye bye (she prefers to go on her own in her own time), going night night (she will go to bed no problem but has many excuses to not goto sleep right away...need to teetee again or read yet another book (Jungle Run or Barnyard Dance)

Foods: chicken nuggets, pasta, carrotts, applesauce, yogurt, fruit, fruit loops aka hutes (her fav snack right now), anything sweet (cake, cookies, suckers, etc.), juice, milk, rice & beans (especially from Freebirds), etc.

Fav Words/Phrases: Mommy, Daddy, Mike (lol), Rayon aka Rayna, 'Yes man' (yes ma'am), 'I tipid' aka tooted, sure (to everything LOL), Pat and O (her Little gym teachers), baby, get back, outside, yep, 'I'm ready!', 'I want bone' aka phone, sip (sit) on the couch, sip (sit) on the Mommy, feed the fishies, night night, Oh man!, Hey guys!, I'm fine! (when she falls down and I ask her if she is ok), 'It's not working' (when something does not go her way or if she thinks something is broke), fwends aka friends, baby eats Mommy's milk (loves telling everyone lol), 'See ya soon!', 'Wait guys!' (with her hand up), 'Aw man!', 'Oh no, oh dear!' (from her favorite book), 'I have no idea'...kills me every time.
She is so funny these days with the things she picks up and says! She talks in complete sentences and we can have a full conversation with her.

Currently: Rylee is such a big girl these days! She has been completely potty trained at home and in public for the past three months (!!!) and we couldn't be more proud and happy about it! She knows all her colors, boy vs girl (she thinks it is soooo funny to call herself a boy), can count from 1-10 very well, loves to sing head shoulder knees and toes & her abc's, and knows all her animals/sounds. She is obsessed with reading (which I love) and has memorized her favorite books almost word for word. Rylee has also taken on her newest role as the Big Sister extremely well (better than Mike and I ever thought)! Seeing her meet her sister for the first time was one of the happiest moments of my life. Rylee is very protective of her little sister. She loves holding her (always wants to hold her on her shoulder like I do when I burp her), touching her little face, giving her kisses/hugs, reading books to her, and checking on her when she cries or wakes up from napping (immediately rushes over to cover her up or give her the paci to sooth her). She always says, 'Hey Baby Rayon Hey! or 'No crying Baby!' She is literally the BEST big sister ever and it makes my heart melt knowing they will always have each other and be besties for life. So proud of my big girl!
