Happy 7th Birthday to my
beautiful, horse loving, big hearted SEVEN year old!
Seven years ago today my
entire world changed when you were born and I have cherished every moment since
then watching you grow. It is definitely bittersweet with each year that passes but what a
blessing each day has been. I can still remember the day you were born so
clearly. From the moment they laid you on my chest you have always been my sweet
Smiley Rylee. I am so lucky to have you as my daughter and my little best
friend for life.
This has been an incredible
year for you. You completed first grade and did outstanding staying on the A/B honor roll all year as well as being chosen to become a Friendly Falcon. You are a social butterfly who makes friends very easily everywhere you go and made your first best friend at school. You are a more confident reader who reads to us each night. You can ride your bike without training wheels and look so big doing so to and from school. Over the past summer you have become an excellent swimmer and often tell me that you wish you could just live at the pool. After a lot of practice you can tie your own shoes now. You had your first visit from the tooth fairy this past year when you lost your two bottom
teeth and now your two top teeth are loose! Lastly, after weeks and weeks of asking me you were brave enough to get your ears pierced for
your 7th birthday! Big changes for my big girl!
I hope you always keep the
special qualities that make you who you are. You have big emotions always wearing your heart on your sleeve. You are a HUGE animal lover always telling us you will be a veterinarian as well as a barrel racer when you grow up. I love that you are a mommy's girl but at the same time you a daddy's
girl. You are tiny for your age but always remember you are small but mighty and can do anything you set your mind to. I admire your confidence and determination. You worry about others, think about others, and care deeply about others. You are very inquisitive always asking us lots of questions about everything. You are very adventurous and brave. Your laugh is contagious, your love is infectious, and your positive spirit is endless. Rylee Lynn, we love you more than words can say. I hope this is your most magical birthday yet and that all your wishes come true.
Started the birthday girl's special day with breakfast in bed (her request), visit from the birthday elf on the shelf, opened all her presents, getting her ears pierced, trip to the zoo, played with her cousins, dinner at one of her favorite places to get burritos, and a special birthday cake!
Today was a good day :)
In Rylee's words she had the "BEST party ever"!!! So much fun at the horse farm grooming ponies, dressing up ponies as unicorns, riding horses, carriage rides, and cupcakes all with her besties!
