Rylee {Jan-Feb 2019}

Things I do not want to forget at 6.5 years old:
  • How sweet, innocent, sensitive, and big hearted Rylee is - she cares so much for her friends & family. I have to remember with her that words and actions mean a lot more to her. She can get upset at the drop of a hat and she takes a while to bounce back. (Ex: When Rayna went to a sleepover with Kynlee to Uncle Westins...the entire drive home she kept saying how much she missed her sister then broke down in tears saying 'I miss Rayna' and the time when we made gingerbread houses and Rayna swallowed a piece of gum...Rylee immediately cried in fear of Rayna eating the gum because it would be in her tummy for 7 years)
  • Her love for all things animals
  • She is doing AWESOME in school. Her favorite subject is math and she is still on the A honor roll! So proud of my smart first grader! :)
  • She loves playing basketball (for the first time). She is most definitely the smallest one on the court but hustles, smiles the entire time, and has great defensive skills!
  • She is tiny but mighty! Currently in the 4% of height for her age group.
  • "I'm the littlest one in my class. In Kindergarten I was and now in first grade too. I don't like it because I can't even reach the monkey bars! It's awful."
  • "Before you marry and pick someone do you have to choose a person with the same skin?"
  • Conversation Rylee had with Rayna, "You have to marry a boy! With a beard! Ewwww! I don't want to because their kiss will hurt. I will just say no I don't want to pick you becasue you have a scruffy beard!"

Cousins make the BEST of friends! <3
School days are their fav <3
First ever basketball game! Rylee played so hard, hustled, and smiled during the entire game! Proud of my big girl even though she was the littlest one out there ;)
 Teammates and cousins :)
100 day project for school - count 100 items at home
100th day of school - dress up as a 100 year old! Rylee called herself Grandma Rylee all morning! She made the cutest little old lady :)
Granna & Pops drove all the way over to watch these superstars play basketball!
Sleepover with Kate at Uncle Westins and Danielles! They had fun at the zoo, went to lunch, had ice cream, went to dinner, watched movies, went to breakfast, and played at the park! :)
Sweet Sisters
LOVE this little gymnast of mine!

Game time with Daddy :)
My little Valentines <3
Valentine's Day at school! Rylee was so excited to bring her horse valentines to her friends and a rose plus a gift for her sweet teacher <3
Last game of the season! So proud of Rylee - this was her first time ever to play basketball and she loved every second if it! She was by far the littlest one on the court but had the biggest heart! She played great defense, hustled, and smiled/skipped down the court every single game. She can't wait to play again next season! :)
Fun night at the Katy Rodeo - Rylee loved every second of it and wants to be a barrel racer and a Katy Cowgirl when she gets bigger! :)

First ever Father Daughter Dance at school <3 Rylee has been counting down the days on her calendar for this special date with her daddy! I helped her get all ready (curled her hair, makeup, jewelry) then Mike rang the doorbell and greeted her with a bouquet of flowers *heart melting!!! After some pictures they were off to dinner (she requested mac & cheese) then to dance the night away! Her future dates will have BIG shoes to fill after this date. Her daddy is the sweetest!

We LOVE our Granna & Pops!
