How far along? 35 weeks 2 days
Size of the baby: Our baby is the size of a coconut. About 17.2-18.7 in long and about 4.2-5.8 lbs. Her hearing is fully developed now and she can hear high-pitched noises!
Maternity clothes? Yes
Stretch marks? None
Sleep: Still waking up several times at night to go to the bathroom (it is getting hard to roll out of bed lol) and having a hard time getting comfortable in bed to stay asleep. Also, finding it hard to wear my tshirts to bed now...they are getting pretty tight! Might be borrowing my hubby's shirts very soon!
Best moment this week: Beautiful spring weather!! We had a fun busy week...took Rylee to her first movie at the theaters to see Home. She loved it and did so good!! Also, went to my nieces first tball game to cheer her on...I can totally see Rylee out there in a couple of years playing too! After the game we went to LaCentera (outdoors shipping area) and lets the kids run around to play while we waiting on the Easter Bunny to arrive. All week long Rylee had been saying, 'I want to sit on the bunny!' as she squats to demonstrate how she would sit LOL. As soon as the bunny showed up she clung to me and wouldn't go near him! Lets just say I think we are in for a repeat of last years Easter Bunny pic (pure terror)!
Worst moment this week: This is not a terrible moment but I babysat my neighbor's one year old little boy for about an hour one day and it was the first time I had given a lot of my attention to a baby that wasn't Rylee. When I had to pick him up or hold his hand to help him walk Rylee instantly got jealous that I was giving him my attention and not all to her. She would reach up for me to hold her, beg me to hold her hand, or just come over and give me some extra hugs and/or kisses (I think just to mark her territory lol). This makes me a bit worried for when her sister arrives... I know it will be a big adjustment for everyone but hopefully it goes smoothly. I hope she always knows how much I love her and that my love for her will never go away....instead I will just have more room in my heart for both her and to her sister ;)
Miss Anything? Just being comfortable. Sleep is definitely still a challenge these days! It takes forever to find a position that works and then once I do, I have to either get up to pee or the baby starts moving like crazy!
Movement: Her movement hasn't changed at all....lots of kicks & rolls! Love them all!
Food cravings: Mexican food, sweets, and Dr. Pepper (limiting my caffeine though)
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Have you started to show yet: Yes!
Gender: GIRL!! Rayna Elyse Sosbe <3
Labor Signs: No
Pregnancy Symptoms: Swollen feet, lots of restroom breaks, and having more discomfort!!
Belly Button in or out? Still in but I feel like it will pop out any day now!!
How are you feeling? Good but feeling very uncomfortable lately
Looking forward to: Taking Rylee to her first Easter egg hunt of the year on Sunday and lots of Easter festivities to come next week!
Funny story: Rylee has been saying all week the he cutest thing...she always says the baby is moving when she lays on me and feels her but just started lifting her own shirt up, moving her tummy as hard as she can, and says 'Baby's moving!' She is so serious about it too and even shows people when we are out in public LOL!
