28 weeks {Baby #2}

How far along? 28 weeks - officially in the third trimester!! Hard to believe that we are in the home stretch and just weeks away from meeting & holding my new baby girl!!

Size of the baby: Our baby is the size of a head of an eggplant. About 13.6-14.8 in long and about 1.5-2.5 lbs. At my appointment she measured exactly 28 weeks...right on track!

Maternity clothes? Yes, and loving wearing the comfy clothes! 

Stretch marks? None

Sleep: Still waking up several times at night to go to the bathroom.

Best moment this week: Babymoon trip and hearing my sweet girl's strong heartbeat (140 bpm)!

Worst moment this week: Sleeping...I have been having a hard time getting comfortable and Rayna likes to keep me awake with all her kicking.

Miss Anything? Sleeping on my back/stomach and being able to workout liek I use to. I get so tired so quickly and have to make many bathroom breaks during a one-hour class! 

Movement: YES, all the time and LOVING it!! 

Food cravings: Mexican food, sweets, and Dr. Pepper 

Anything making you queasy or sick: No

Labor Signs: No

Pregnancy Symptoms: Tired (but not as tired as I was in the first trimester), occasional heartburn, and lots of restroom breaks!!

Belly Button in or out? Still in but I feel like it might pop out soon!! 

How are you feeling? Good but getting more uncomfortable. 

Looking forward to: Our Babymoon this weekend! We are going to the Riverwalk in San Antonio for our last little getaway just the two of us!! Also, my 28 week check up apt on Monday! Excited to hear baby girl's little heartbeat again :)

We stayed at Hotel Valencia right on the Riverwalk and luckily had the most beautiful day when we arrived!!

Went to dinner at Little Rhein Steakhouse right on the river. It was sooo good!!

Went on the boat tour around the Riverwalk after dinner

Slept in and went to breakfast at The Guenther House. Again sooo good!

Then headed home to pick up Rylee from her aunt & uncle's house....it was so good to see her!! Even though we enjoyed our 24-hour (much needed) getaway we missed our sweet girl very much!! We (of course) brought her a gift from our trip and she absolutely LOVED it! She has been OBSESSED with horses aka hee haws lately so we couldn't pass up this toy ;)
