I have been reading my baby books weekly to prepare for Rylee's arrival and in every book they mention taking a Babymoon. I never really heard of this before but it is basically is one last vacation for the future mommy and daddy before the baby arrives. I don't know who came up with this but they are very smart!!
So, this past weekend Mike and I went on a little mini vaca to my sister's relaxing and fabulous lake house! We wanted to go somewhere together, just the two of us, since it won't be just us for long. Since I am in the third trimester my doctor gave me very strict orders NOT to travel after 28 weeks so Mike and I thought we better make the most of our last getaway together!
We drove up Friday night after work with Mali and just relaxed on the porch overlooking the beautiful lake view and sunset. Saturday morning we woke up and went to Wimberly (a little town where they have trade days every first weekend of the month) in search of some cute things for Miss Rylee! It was a long and hot morning so we came back to take a much needed nap. Later that night we drove to Gruene to walk around, sight see, do a little more shopping, and ate at the famous Gristmill.
We didn't do much but that was all in the plans! I have been exhausted from work so I just wanted to relax and spend some quality time together. Going to Tamera's lake house was absolutely perfect!
Here are some pictures from this weekend:

Just relaxing :)

Mike picked out this cute romper for Rylee :)
My goal was to find some bows for Rylee and we hit the jackpot! We got such a good deal. I LOVE the elephant pink clip in the picture below (bottom right corner)!

Thanks Mike for a fun and relaxing weekend trip! I can't wait for our next vacation getaway because it will be when we are finally a family of three with Rylee :) Love you!!
