Ready or not summer has quickly come to an end and it is back to school time!
Cannot believe Rylee is officially going to be in junior high! She has had a mix of emotions leading up to the first day but thanks to Pup camp and walk your schedule she is feeling more excited and less nervous. She enjoyed getting to walk the 6th grade halls to find her classes, have her big cousins show her around, see which friends are in her class, and meet a few of her new teachers. I know she will do wonderful but I just pray she finds her place, makes sweet new friends, and remembers to be herself because she is the "nice kid" and an amazing little girl <3
Rayna is going into 3rd grade without her big sis at her school this year but she has a LOT of confidence and is ready for the new year. Her grade level will be in the portables this year so she is excited for that. We had Meet the Teachers night and she is so excited! She has a lot of good friends in her class and has two very sweet teachers.
Excited to see the Fielder falcon :)
Happy first day of school to my growing girls! 6th & 3rd grade ready <3
Sad these girls don't get to be in school together this year but I know they will do great. One last pic of them together before school drop offs. Charli wanted in too ;)
Rayna is very confident about school and is pumped to be in the same class as her besties and with some amazing teachers! Wish time would slow down but excited for a wonderful year :)
Things I don't want to forget:
Rylee:
- "Can I be full?" - every night at dinner instead of "I am full"
- "We will have to digest frogs in science this year!" (disect)
- Rylee said she asked a question to her friend at school to know the "juice" aka the tea
- "IDK"
- "I like how we can walk in squiggly lines at Beck"
- "I wonder how Target got its name..."
- "Our bus has a heater and a colder"
Rayna -
- Struggled at the beginning of third grade with kids making fun of her vitiligo... ex: calling her a cow because of her spots, saying to stay away from her because something is wrong with her, and making gross faces at her. Thankfully she is confident but I make a point to remind her DIALY just how beautiful and special she is with her spots.
