Summer 2022

 Sweet summertime :) Our favorite time of the year! Kicked off summer break with some fun in the sun with the girl's besties/cousins on Memorial Day!

GAC camp for the second summer with her cousins. Rylee had a blast and I missed her like crazy!

Picked up my big girl and there were lots of happy tears from Rylee! She had a blast but was ready to come home after a long busy fun week. She had the sweetest counselor, Ashley, and made so many new friends. On the way home she told me she feels like she is now closer to God and Jesus after being at GAC camp - all I could hope! So proud of her and so glad to have her home <3

Meanwhile, Rayna was living her best life at Camp Granna... shopping, swimming, and dessert every single day. She had a great week enjoying some special time with Granna & Pops :)

Happy Father's Day to the best daddy! We are so lucky he's ours.

Had a fun getaway at the Woodlands Resort and Rayna made a little frog friend :)

The girls LOVED going to VBS all week with their friends, cousin, and each other. Love how much they love church and watching them grow their relationship with Jesus makes my heart so happy! <3

Florida vacation - enjoyed spending time with MeeMe & Poppy. We did a lot of swimming, enjoyed beautiful Clearwater Beach, and had fun at Seaworld. Always love our trips to Florida! :)

Last day at the beach and these girls now how to relax. Living their best life!!

One last trip before summer comes to an end... had a fun little getaway to JW Marriott resort in San Antonio. Slides, lazy river, beach pool, scavenger hunts, and family time :)

 

It was such a fun summer! Love this sweet family of mine and all the memories we made <3

Spent the last day of summer on a day date with my soon to be 5th grader! Rayna went to a playdate so Rylee and I hung out - Chick fil A for lunch, shopped for a planner for school + teacher gifts, and just hung out and chatted. Love this special one on one time with my little big girl! <3

• "For my birthday sleepover I want something other than pizza because I'm not that type of girl"

• "I have a really long neck" stretching it out at bedtime

• While crying about Mali... "I miss her so much and really want a dog. Can I talk to you when I'm sad about Mali? What do you do when you are sad?" - I told her of course then I said I might need to come to you when I'm sad and she said "great, then we will both be crying!"
• "I don't like when Rayna finishes my sentences"
• "cool, didn't ask" (when talking to her then she started laughing...she can never be mean!)
• "I am excited and scared to turn 10"
• "When I grow up I want to have a baby who is already potty trained"
• "I hope I get a growth spurt"

• "I got my muscles fatter!" (after the first time doing the treadmill)
