Spring did NOT go according to plan this year...after our fun spring break on the amazing Disney Cruise we came back to reality with NO school (indefintely) and everyone quarantined at home. Homeschool (online instruction) began and lots of entertaining with crafts, walks, scooters/bikes, etc. The girls actually have been really good troopers and have been enjoying the extra playtime together and learning time with Mommy. I am absolutely exhausted and have never missed real school + our teachers soooo much!
Wrote letters to friends & family
Lots of walks + scooter rides around the neighborhood

Rayna's preschool teacher, Mrs. Johnna, came by to say hi and drop off some school work. We couldn't give her a hug which was sad but so glad Rayna got to see her sweet teacher if only for a few minutes. Definitely bittersweet!

Rylee was sad but understood. Rayna was instantly in tears and so upset. She said, "I don't get to see my best friend Anna Joy again!!!" She was heartbroken. Promised her I will plan a playdate when all of this is over. Her and Anna became such good friends this year in preschool.
LOTS of family bike rides during this quarantine
Nobody else I would want to be stuck at home with than these two cuties
Shapes with Rayna
Puzzle time with my big girl :)
Built a garden with Daddy and planted some veggies! Science class check.

Backyard Campout - it was fun while it lasted but an unexpected storm rolled through so we had to cut it short outside and move the campout inside. The girls still had a great time...played in the tent outside, ate hotdogs, had s'mores, and slept together in a tent in the playroom. I got to sleep in my own comfy bed inside so overall it was a #winwin!
First cousin playdate in 5 weeks!!! Needless to say, they were sooo excited to spend the evening together playing! Love these four <3
Color collage - Rayna had so much fun cutting, sorting, and gluing. She said she did not need any help from me and that I just needed to watch her :)

HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY! Rayna had the best celebrating turning five at home. She was such a trooper since we were unable to have a party this year. She was all smiles all day and made all the choices...breakfast in bed, opened gifts, watched a movie, lunch at Freebirds, surprise birthday drive-by, swimming, and cake! By the end of the day she was wiped out :)

Finally back to horse riding lessons! One happy girl :)

Mother's Day with my biggest blessings <3
After two long months it was so nice to finally see my mom and celebrate Mother's Day together! These two are the best moms that I know.
Rayna's preschool Mother's Day tea party was cancelled due to COVID-19 so my mom surprised Rayna and I with a sweet tea party <3 It was perfect!
First outing with Rayna wearing masks :)
Rayna got a special visit from BOTH of her sweet preschool teachers today. We FINALLY got to give them a big hug after eight long weeks. We miss them so much!
Homeschool is officially OVER and summer has started! What a crazy end of the school year it has been. These last 2.5 months were stressful, different, and a big change for all of us. I am so proud of my girls and all their hard work during this homeschool experience. They never complained and always saw the best in each day. Can't believe I have a third grader and a kindergartner but so glad they will be at the same school together next year. Love them to pieces!
Surprised Rayna on her last day of preschool with a few goodies :)

Things I don't want to forget:
Rayna:
- literally
- holy crap!
- I have a freeze brain! (while eating ice cream)
- If someone is on my bed I am going to punch them in the face
- When I ask her to count out loud - she literally screams her numbers
- I told them to go outside for five minutes and Rayna mumbles... "I don't even know what five minutes is"
- I said Rayna is only four and she quickly responded, "of course I am four. Do I look five??"
- I joked you! (playing tricks)
- "I'm not crazy...I'm confident!"
- "I need to wear a sleep mask because Rylee snores."
- "I pinky the promise"
- While playing barbies - she said, "Don't worry I will look on amazon for it."
Rylee:
- on the crusie ship while it was rocking she said, "I feel so awkward!"
- "no offense but..."
- When I said your sister is only four and throws a fit sometimes and Rylee responded, "You mean ALWAYS?!"
- "Maybe God and Jesus made Rayna a little crazy..."
- "Daddy was using blue teeth (blue tooth) on my ipad."
- eye pie peas (black eyed peas)
- Has been wanting a fish and when I said where will we keep it and she said, "we can just put the fish in your wine cup."
