Rylee {winter 2018}

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Things I do not want to forget:

  • Rylee's belief in all things Christmas, elf, and Santa still. I hope this does not fade away anytime soon. This is the most magical time of the year and to see her excitement and understanding of it all is just the very best!
  • Rylee's love for school and learning. She is doing so good in first grade. Currently making all As and Bs and on level/above level in reading.
  • Seemed so concerned when it was Christmas Eve and reminded us to turn the fireplace off before bedtime so Santa could come down the chimney
  • "Mommy, your hair is so salad! Oops...I mean solid!" ;)
  • Rayna, can you slow your voice down? It is way too loud!
  • "Are theses roads glued or taped or just stuck to the world?" *So curious about everything!
  • "I feel like a teenager right now (says this all the time lately lol) because I can snap, almost tie my shoes, ride my bike without training wheels, and almost read chapter books!" *Getting too big too fast!
  • Busted in the bathroom when I was using the bathroom to show me a picture of a puppy and tell me she really wanted one! Closed the door then opened it to say, "Sorry for erupting (interrupting) your privates!"

Started off December 1st with the return of the elves (Winter and Candy Cane), a trip to Krispy Kreme Donuts, movie theater to watch Grinch, and ended the night with driving around looking at Christmas lights. It was a good day :)
December 2nd - visit with Santa Clause! The girls loved meeting him this year. They both told him their wish list (big white horse, parrot in cage, & little animals), gave him big hugs, then went home and wrote their Santa letter to drop off in the mail.

Rayna {winter 2018}

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Things I do not want to forget:

  • Ewww! That's deduction! (disgusting)
  • So unfair. (with her hands crossed and a pounty lip)
  • I told her, "that is too many times to get up to go potty at bedtime." Rayna, replied, "Well, it is only two and that is just some. Not too many or a bunch!"
  • "I only like the shadow, not the sun."
  • Rayna spilled her OJ at breakfast time all over the floor and I said next time you will have to drink out of a cup with a lid. She replied, "you should have just given me a lid then mommy!" *ALWAYS has something to say!
  • "Yes, no, maybe so?"
  • "What in the world?"
  • Every night at bedtime, "I love you and sweet dreams and have a good sleep!" <3
  • "Mommy, just let me talk first for a second"
  • "How could you? or How should you?" when something does not go her way
  • I asked her what are you watching on your ipad? She said, "don't worry - it's not Spanish!"
  • "I am fwee years old!" *My favorite!!
  • What did Santa bring you? "Princess Cavity (vanity)!"
  • "Can you take a picture of me with this toy (holding an Ariel barbie doll in January). "Now sand it to Santa!"
LOVES:
