At 3 years old Rayna is at such a fun age! I absolutely love this stage. Always an adventure, always having a conversation, and always dramatic. These are the days! ;)
At this age her favorites include: Princesses (especially Ariel and Belle)!!!, TLG, trampoline, singing (current fav songs: You Make It Easy by Jason Aldean, I'll Never Be the Same by Camila Cabello, Meet Me in the Middle by Maren Morris, and all of Taylor Swift songs), swimming (She has gotten soooo much better and more comfortable this summer! After swim lessons she now goes all the way under, kicks, jumps, and likes to practice without her floaties.), puzzles (she loves them and is actually really good and quick at doing them all by herself), accessories, playing dress up (she literally wakes up and gets into a princess dress then changes about five times throughout the day), apples with peanut butter, pretzels, and all things sweet!
Favorite words/phrases I want to remember:
- "oopsy turtle" - when something falls accidentally
- "teamwork makes the dreamwork"
- when asking her a question she responds "maybe yes" or "maybe no"
- when shopping in Target she was pulling my shirt down trying to tickle me and I said don't do that and she responded as loud as she could, "or it will show your boobies?!"
- "I don't like sleep, mommy!" - at bedtime after getting up over and over
- "Rylee, you look so beautiful"
- "I don't like ocopusses at the car wash!"
- "Where is you, mommy? I looking for you everywhere!"
- Rayna at Hobby Lobby when I asked a worker who just so happened to not hand any hands a question (thought to myself please do not say anything out loud) and as soon as we were walking away from her she says as loud as she can, "She has broken hands! My hands aren't broken."
- said "what?" to Rayna and she responds, "No, I am not talking to you...I am talking to my sister Rywee!"
- "I want to wear that fancy leotard"
- at TLG - "Mommy!!" so I run to her at the beam and try to help her and she says, "No, go sit down."
- "messy hair, I don't care"
- "Sharing is caring"
- "safety first!"
- "I don't want ice in my water. Princesses don't eat water." -Rylee responds, "Actually, they don't eat water they drink it!"
- "mommy, where we gonin?"
- while watching Little Mermaid (for the first time) and eating popcorn Rayna says, "if I eat this (popcorn kernels) it will take my voice away and go all the way out of my booty then I will look like Ariel with legs!"
- "I jumped off my bed and I won't bust my head open...I promise!" (all while waving her hand at me because she talks with her hands lol)
- "panpakes"
- pointing at her shadow on the ground, "Look! I big!"
- Mike text me while he is in the bathroom with Rayna at a restaurant, "I can't get out of the bathroom because Rayna said she is not done. She said I only did two poops but I need to do three because I'm three!"
- holding the door open for family, "hurry up!"
- told daddy, "no hair, don't care!"
- When going potty at the YMCA she says over and over again, "I think I can, I think I can..." then yells loudly, "my bottom is not listening to me!"
- Looking at my wedding pictures she says, "I really want to get marrrrried!"
- Pointing to Daddy's hair, "You only have hair here and here. Not here!"
- "For the millionth time!" - totally gets that phrase from me
- "This is my crown because I am the keen (queen)"
- Me - "Rayna, that was soooo fake!" (while she threw a big fit) Rayna - "I know it was!"
- "I need panties that match!" Me - "Do they always have to match your princess nightgown?" Rayna - "Oh yes! Like if it's Elena of Avalor then I neeeeeed Elena panties!"
- "Bematian" - Sebastian
- With her hand covering my mouth, "Hey Mommy! Excuse me! Be quiet!"
- Rayna at dinner - "if you give me that bread Mommy then I will give you a kiss and if you don't give me that bread then I will never give you a kiss again!" (all with a serious face) then she swiped my bread when I busted out laughing. She LOVES her some carbs and she is lucky she is so darn cute!
- After running errands with just Rayna I said, "Thanks for going to all the stores with Mommy. I had fun!" she replied, "Well we did not go to Mexico!"
- I said, "Mommy needed this little coffee pick me up today!" Rayna replied, "the coffee hold mommy with no hands?"
- I said, "Oh my goodness." Rayna said (while wagging her finger in my face), "You can NOT say God! Only when you are talking to God during prayers."
- "Why are you so cute, Rayna?" She replied, "becasue it just makes sense."

My little princess
Excited for her first gymnastics class and she insisted on wearing her Ariel princess leotared! Now that she is three I do not go in the class with her. She had no hesitation at all, did wonderful, listened to the teacher, and loved it! :)
