Rayna turns THREE!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Rayna Elyse! I cannot believe my baby is already THREE years old. To know this girl is to absolutely love her. She is smart, sassy, sweet and so very special! She definitely keeps me on my toes with her "threenager" attitude, challenges me daily by testing her limits, and somehow gets more dramatic with each day but oh how I love this sweet little girl!
Rayna is definitely our wild child but that also makes all of her emotions extra big - including how she loves. She loves big and she loves hard. Always giving the tightest hugs around your neck that are almost strangling and the biggest smooches all over your face. She runs with arms wide open into every hug at full speed so you always have to be ready. One of my favorite things I don't ever want to forger is how she tells me "I lush you!" all day long. She definitely tries our patience and pushes all of our buttons, but then can turn on the charm and make us forget all about it. She is our very own little comedian - always putting on a shows, knows when she is funny, and will do anything to make us laugh. She is definitely a mama's girl always first in line to sit with me, greet me, and give me lots of love! She loves and adores her sister "Rywee" following her every move and always wanting to do what she does to be just like her. She is ALL girl. Princesses are everything to her, she enjoys playing dress up, accessorizing, and asking to get her nails painted daily (pink is her favorite color). This past year she has grown into such a beautiful little girl with her long 'princess' hair. She is so smart - always soaking up everything around her and repeating what her big sister says or learns from school. This fall she will begin preschool (she asks me everyday when Rylee goes to kindergarten if she is going to school too) and I know she is more than ready and I have no doubt she will do great.
Rayna, you bring so much love and laughter to our family. Your beautiful chipped tooth smile lights up every single room you enter and there is never a dull moment with your bigger than life personality. You are crazy but I am crazy in love with you. Happy Birthday sweet girl! I love you more than all the princesses in the world!

Rayna loves princesses more than anything so when I asked her what kind of party she wanted, it was no surprise that she wanted a princess birthday party. I rented the Princess & Tiara's bus for an hour for Rayna and her little friends to play dress up and get makeovers. Sooo fun! After the bus (which was parked at a nearby park) the kids went and played at the park then enjoyed pizza and princess cupcakes. It was the perfect day for my little princess!

Rayna {Jan-Spring}

Rayna is at such a sweet, fun, and trying age ;) She is extremely smart, dramatic, silly, and lovable. She currently LOVES princesses (her favorites include Cinderella & Belle), barbies, dress up, reading books, legos, puzzles, The Little Gym, her scooter, singing songs, coloring, and being her sister's shadow. Her vocabulary has exploded and she talks nonstop! I love her little voice and the way she mispronounces certain words (wish I could bottle up this age). She loves learning with Rylee when she is doing homework (practices sight words with her by repeating them, counts to 15, "reads", and so much more). Rayna keeps me on my toes with her fearless little self and always wanting to be so busy. She is so ready to become three years old and tells me daily that it's almost her princess birthday and has learned to hold up the number 3 now. I love everything about my sweet & sassy girl and wish time would just slow down.

Favorite words/phrases I want to remember:
  • "Where we gonin?"
  • "This is so boring!" - learned from Rylee and says about things she does not like...buckling her seatbelt, eating certain food, etc.
  • "Lexa, tell me a joke!" - talking to Alexa (daddy's new bday present)
  • "You're making my heart sad" - when she gets in trouble and cries
  • "You're not going to get a trophy!" - when playing a game/competetive all ready (she tells daddy this every time lol)
  • 'No boys allowed!"
  • "Ummm nope!"
  • Me to Rayna (while eating popcorn), "Are you done Rayna?" Rayna to me, "No....see that right there? That means I'm not done."
  • "I marry you, Mommy" <3
  • "You're a weedow!" (weirdo)
  • "I'm not a baby, I'm a baby big girl!"
  • "Ryy-weee!" (LOVE how she says Rylee's name :)
  • "I lush you" (LOVE this too....she likes to tell mommy and daddy ALL day long out of the blue that she loves us)
  • "I don't know eater" (either)
  • "gusting!" (disgustin)
  • "Are we going to look at toys or what?!" (while shopping at Target) and "Are you going to give me a snack or what?!"
  • "Where are the germs? I don't see them!" - when Mommy had the flu and could not be with me
  • "Hi, I'm Mommy!" - loves to imitate me (wears my house shoes and waves saying this over and over again lol)
  • Told Rayna to eat her food and Rylee chimed in telling her to eat and Rayna told Rylee, "don't worry about me!"
  • "My toot taste like a blueberry!" - LOL soooo gross and she has never tasted a blueberry!?
  • "I don't want to goto timeout! I want to goto Disney World!" - when she gets in trouble this is her response every time lol. Countdown to Disney and she is ready to go!
  • "Where is you?" (when Rylee plays hide and seek from her)
  • "I'm going to tell you a sticker" (secret)
  • Talking about big girl school and Rayna asks, "Are teachers real?" :)
  • Pointing to her belly button, "My throat really hurts!"
  • "Get out wedgie! You're going to go to timeout!"
  • "Oopsy turtle!" - when something happens on accident
  • Kisses me on the lips then says, "I marry you, Mommy!"
  • Was very scared and cried at the rodeo when the fireworks started. Ever since then she has been telling me everyday, "I promise I will not cry at Cinderella's house at the fireworks because I am brave like Merida!" I told her we will watch a firework show at DisneyWorld when we go and that was her response. So serious and so sure about it :)
  • Talking about going to big girl school (preschool this fall) and she keeps telling me that it will be an Anna and Elsa school all about princesses. I told her that she will not learn about princesses but will get to learn all about Jesus! Then she responds in the sweetest little voice, "Is Jesus going to be there?" Love how innocent their little minds and hearts are at this age <3
