Happy 22 months to my sweet Rylee Lynn!! So hard to believe you are two short months away from turning two!! We love you more than words can describe. You are the best thing that has ever happened to us and you bring so much joy into our world. I love the little girl you are becoming and your bigger than life personality. Always remember you will always be my little girl no matter how big you are. We love you to the moon and back!!
Growth & Development:
- weight- 27.5 lbs
- Favorite Food: chicken, spaghetti/lasagna, cucumbers, ALL fruit, froyo, smoothies, turkey/ham lunch meat, pizza, mexican food.
- Drinks about 21oz of milk a day (three sippy cups of milk a day).
- Words: no, momma, uh oh, go, ewww, da da, woah, baby, step slide, me, Pops, gone gone (when her food/snacks are all gone), bubbles, balloon, KiKi (my sister's dog), shoes, moo, ruff ruff, outside, puppy, Oh Tootles (from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse), piggy (from the song this little piggy), and roll (from patty cake).
- Teeth: Has a total of 16 teeth
- Sleeping: Naps about 1.5hrs (once a day) and sleeps about 11-12 hours each night!
Favorites:
Rylee loves playing outside (all day if she could), TLG, going to the nursery at the YMCA, going bye bye, copying what others do (folding her arms, laying down, cleaning, blowing kisses, sneezing, coughing), playing with sidewalk chalk, playing in the pool, bubbles, playing chase, getting tickled, climbs EVERYTHING (ladders, couch, beds, etc), playing with her stuffed animals/babies, shoes, playing with her cousins, singing the song patty cake & this little piggy with her toes, watching Disney Junior (especially Mickey Mouse), and has recently become obsessed with watching Monsters INC.
Not Favorites:
Being told no, sharing toys, waiting patiently and taking turns at TLG, holding hands, going inside from playing outside, getting in trouble from hitting her friends (we are working on this), and getting her diaper changed.
Firsts/Milestones/Moments to Remember:
- Went on her second airplane ride to Arkansas to visit MeeMe and Poppy. She did great on the way there but not so much on the way back because she was sick.
- Got another bad ear infection which resulted in her feeling very weak, vomiting, and fever.
- Learned how to smack her lips, cross her arms, blow kisses (cutest thing EVER), and pretend sneeze (thinks it is the funniest thing)
- Getting so much better at staying in the church nursery! Doesn't cry anymore until I pick her up.
- Celebrated Mother's Day with Mommy! Woke up to a big hug and kiss from my sweet girl followed by a balloon (her fav), homemade card (my fav), mani/pedi, flowers, and breakfast! I am a lucky Mommy!!
- Went potty (pee pee) for the first time on her big girl potty before bathtime! YAY!! :)
- Had her first play date with her friends from TLG!!
- Had her first sleepover at her Aunt Kristins with her cousins while Mommy & Daddy went to a wedding and did so good!
