Rylee {20 months}

Happy 20 months to my sweet Rylee Lynn!! I love this stage and her huge personality! It's so hard to believe that in four short months we will have a two-year old! Time seems to be flying by so I'm trying to soak up all the fun with our crazy fun-loving girl. Love you so much!!!

Growth & Development:

• weight- 26 lbs
• Favorite Food: cucumbers, hot dogs, pizza, strawberries, bananas, applesauce, cheese, smoothies, corn, rice, chicken, beans. Still uses the sign language more to tell me when she is hungry or wants a snack!
• Drinks about 21oz of milk a day (three sippy cups of milk a day). As soon as she is done she is quick to hand it to one of us. 
• Words: no no, momma, uh oh, go, ewww, da da, woah, baby, step slide, me, Pops, gone (when her food is all gone), bubbles, balloon, KiKi (my sister's dog), shoes, moo, ruff ruff, outside, 
• Teeth: Has a total of 14 teeth still
• Sleeping: Naps about 1.5hrs (once a day) and sleeps about 11-12 hours each night!

Favorites:

Rylee loves being outside, running as fast as she can, 'feeding' herself and her baby with the play food/drinks, using a fork/spoon like a big girl, loving on Mali, reading her books (favorites: Goodnight Moon, Baby Faces, Piggies...), balloons, watching Mickey, putting her shoes on, hoarding pacificers, stealing my panties from the drawer and hiding herself and them in the closet behind my clothes, being sung to (nursery rhymes and the Happy Birthday song)...she gets the biggest smile, licking the couch (thinks it is so funny but it's just really weird), reading her books (she likes to pick her favorite book then back herself into your lap to read), mimicing what we do (cleaning, using toenail clippers, petting Mali, giving Mali a bath etc.), throwing things off the couch, playing chase, The Little Gym, and balls.

Firsts/Milestones/Moments to Remember:

• Went to her second wedding in Lumberton (Jessica & Kevin Burks)
• Went to the lake with Kristin, Kynlee, Kate, Tamera, & Debbie
• Celebrated St. Patty's Day in green and went with Daddy to a festival while Mommy was out of town.
• Stayed with Daddy all weekend while Mommy had a girl's weekend trip
• Had ANOTHER ice day! 
• Had ANOTHER sick day (vomiting)!
• Has become scared of her shadow LOL. When she sees it she starts fake crying..
• Had her first time out during our visit to the lake. She has gotten pretty good at throwing massive tantrums so time outs have started...
• Has learned to say what a dog and cow says...ruff ruff and moooooo! 
• Knows where her eyes, ears, nose, tongue, head, hair, belly, belly button, and toes are and likes to point them out on other people too ;)
• LOVES giving kisses (both closed & open mouthed) and hugs!!
• Starting to show signs of not liking diapers anymore...pulls down her diaper, fights having a diaper change, sits on potty. After reading a lot about potty training they say the best age is 22 months so I'm going to wait another month or so and see how she does. In the meantime, I want to work on her saying tee-tee and poo-poo when she goes so she begins to understand when to go potty.

Rylee {19 months}

Happy 19 months to my sweet Rylee Lynn!! Your smile is contagious and you have the sweetest/funniest personality. I love you more than you will ever know.

Growth & Development:

• weight- 25lbs

• Teeth: Has a total of 14 teeth (two new ones on the top)
• Sleeping: Naps about 2hrs (once a day) and sleeps about 11-12 hours each night!

Favorites:

Rylee loves being the center of attention at The Little Gym, climbing everything she can in our house, reading books/sitting with Mommy to read books, loving on Mali, playing/carrying/sleeping with her babies, stealing our phones to play with, climbing EVERYTHING imaginable (including her toy stroller/our couch/and our coffee table/outside slide), playing outside, shutting (aka slamming) ALL doors, playing games with her paci (hiding it in her shirt or in our hands or throwing it), playing with her shoes (loves them), and being a big girl when she eats and using her fork!

Firsts/Milestones:

• Right after she turned 18 months Rylee has gotten SOOOO much better at being dropped off in the nursery at the YMCA. She doesn't cry much anymore and instead plays with the toys and is happy when I pick her up :)
• Had another Texas 'snow day' even though there was no snow but we did get ice!
• Got another double ear infection which resulted in lots of vomiting and dehydration
• Knows where her nose is and loves pointing to other people's noses while saying NOSE!
• Obsessed with balloons and points to them everywhere saying BALLOON!
• Moved up to the Beast class at The Little Gym with Ms. Pat!
• Went to Monkey Joes for the first time!
• Got a bad case of hives from a viral infection (ear infections). The hives continued to spread getting worse and worse causing bruising and swelling. She was in so much pain that she had a hard time standing/walking. After several doctor visits we ended up taking her to the ER where she had to get an IV, a steroid shot, bloodwork, and a urine sample which all came back fine. The doctor suggested that she be transferred by ambulance to Texas Children's where a specialists could look at her. After waiting a few hours at TCH ER she was finally admitted so they could watch the spreading of the hives, swelling, and bruising overnight. With all the medication she finally started looking better and feeling back to herself. She was released the next day to come home and continue her meds. 
• Celebrated Valentine's Day
• Learned how to climb the ladder on the swing set and slide down all by herself!! Makes me so nervous watching her!!
• Stayed with Granna while Mommy & Daddy went to Vegas for the weekend and did great!!

Watched the Superbowl wearing the only jersey she owned!

Mastered the high bar at TLG!!

Broke out in a severe case of hives which resulted in a trip to the ER and an overnight stay at the hospital for evaluation.

Rylee {18 months}

Happy 18 months to my sweet Rylee Lynn! It so hard to believe that I have a 1.5 year old now (it's a little bittersweet). Rylee is such a sweet little girl to be around. She has the most energetic and fun-loving personality! I am the luckiest Mommy in the world to have Rylee as my little girl!!

Growth & Development:

• weight- 24.9 lbs
• height- 31.5 in
• Favorite Food: bananas (her FAV right now...she will eat the entire thing), strawberries, lunchable pizzas, ham & cheese, all meats, casserole dishes, rice & beans, cucumbers, crackers, noodles, and frozen yogurt. Not a big fan of breakfast right now unless it consist of just fruit. 
• Drinks about 21oz of milk a day (three sippy cups of milk a day). As soon as she is done she is quick to hand it to one of us. 
• Words: no no, momma, uh oh, go, ewww, da da/daddy, woah, baby, step slide (sounds like she is saying it), me, Pops, and gone (when her food is all gone).

Favorites:

Rylee loves playing with her babies/stuffed animals, throwing the ball to Mali and yelling 'go', likes to walk backwards then run forwards, practice her forward rolls & step slides from TLG, wave hi and bye to everyone, she likes to have her back/tummy/head/arms rubbed, getting into everything imaginable (my panty drawer, daddy's sock drawer, dog food, etc), playing chase, playing with her cousins, 'reading' her books, likes to run in place when she's super excited, swinging, being outside, pretending to talk on the phone, playing with her new kitchen from Santa, pushing her babies in the stroller (obsessed with babies right now), likes to climb into baskets or her doll crib to sit in, love on Mali all the time (gives her sugars and hugs), and always on the GO (if we say you want to go bye bye she runs to the door and reaches for the doorknob)!

Firsts/Milestones:

• Celebrated Christmas
• Got the croup (woke up with it on Christmas day) and then a severe cold
• Celebrated New Years/Daddy's birthday (wasn't a big fan of fireworks this year but loved sharing Daddy's cake and ice cream).
• Just discovered wearing sunglasses is not such a bad thing! 
• Joined the YMCA. She is not a fan of the nursery there yet but hopefully will do better with time. 
• Went to American Girl for Kynlee's fourth birthday and had a blast!
• Started using sign language for more when eating!

Rylee {17 months}

Happy 17 months to my sweet Rylee Lynn! This little girl brings so much joy and laughter in our life. She seriously is the funniest, sweetest, and happiest baby...I mean toddler (hard to believe she isn't a baby anymore)! She has quite the personality and it shows everyday :)

Growth & Development:

• Favorite foods: cheerios, beans, cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, rice, eggs, all meat, strawberries, bananas, grapes, noodles, pizza, sweets
• Drinks about 21oz of milk a day (three sippy cups of milk a day)
• Words: no no, momma, uh oh, go, ewww, da da/daddy, woah, baba (baby), wee-wee (when she spends in circles), step slide (sounds like she is saying it), me. LOVE hearing her talk even if it is in her own little language. She has started puckering her lips and talks so seriously repeating herself until we pay attention or talk to her LOL. 
• Teeth: Has a total of 12 teeth. The week she was super sick she also had four new teeth come in all at once...poor girl!
• Sleeping: Naps about 1.5-2hrs (once a day) and sleeps from 11 hours each night!

Favorites:

Rylee loves giving high fives, practicing her rolls, jumping, playing with her baby dolls, pretending to cough with her hand covering her mouth, climbing, riding on Daddy's shoulders, watching Mickey, reading her favorite book and trying to make the faces (Baby Faces), playing with her new Christmas toys, starring at the Christmas tree (so fascinated), getting into everything she is not supposed to, being a social butterfly, going to TLG every week, stealing phones and remotes, practicing her 'step slides', making Mommy smell her stinky feet (thinks it is so funny), dancing, playing chase, digging into Mommy's underwear drawer and Daddy's sock drawer everyday!

Firsts/Milestones:

• Went on her first airplane ride to visit Granny in Tennessee for Thanksgiving. She did GREAT! Slept the entire flight :)
• Celebrated Thanksgiving but didn't enjoy eating it!
• Saw snow for the first time! Wasn't quite sure what to think about it at first but loved it after Daddy pulled her around on the sled!
• Drove up her first mountain (Viking Mt) to see a beautiful view and sled some more!!
• Got her first double ear infection this month...no fun! 
• Mastered the 'duck face' all on her own and likes to do it ALL the time :)
• Knows where her eyes are and will point to other people's eyes!
• Saw Santa Clause! I was afraid she would cry but she did great! No tears but no smiles either. She did high five Santa afterwards though ;)
• Got a visit from MeeMe, Poppy, and Hailey
• Celebrated Christmas at Granna & Pop's house the weekend before Christmas. Got lots of fun toys, spent time with family, and took professional family pictures!
• Celebrated her second Christmas Eve with Mommy & Daddy! We went to Christmas Eve service at church, opened pjs, read the Christmas Story together, and watched Mickey's Christmas movie.

Rylee {16 months}

Happy 16 months to my sweet Rylee Lynn!! Each month seriously gets so much better but with that being said time needs to slow down!! We are super blessed to have such a funny, sweet, and happy little girl! She lights up our life and I cannot imagine this world without her in it. Since it's November (the month of giving thanks) I am beyond thankful for this little girl in my life. 

Growth & Development:

• weight- 23 lbs
• Favorite foods: meat, fruit (obsessed with strawberries and grapes), applesauce, string cheese, yogurt, smoothies, noodles, crackers, 
• Drinks about 21oz of milk a day (sucks it down quick)! Started her on Soy milk this month since she was having some tummy issues.
• Words: no no, momma, uh oh, ewww, da da/daddy, woah, baba (baby), wee-wee (when she spends in circles), and we are working on more & Mali.
• Teeth: Total of 10 now. She got two new ones this month which caused a LOT of diarrhea, crying, and chewing on just about everything (especially her hands). 
• Sleeping: Naps about 1.5-2hrs (once a day) and sleeps from 11 hours each night!

Favorites:

Rylee loves running anywhere and everywhere, climbing on the couch and has now figured out how to climb on the coffee and end tables (Lord help me), playing in her car, playing at TLG with her friends and Ms. Pat, watching Mickey Mouse (at home and in the car), playing/sitting on/torturing Mali, giving high-fives, stacking her blocks, reading her books, playing with the drain in the bathtub, practicing her forward rolls and step-slides (from the TLG), playing hide-and-seek and chase, playing fetch with Mali, tickles, greeting Daddy at the door when he gets home from work, putting everything in her mouth (favorite is her paci), spinning round and round, going through Mommy's drawers and pulling out all my panties and putting them on her head (weirdo), and loves going 'bye-bye'.

Not Favorites:
She hates being left in the church nursery and screams/cries the entire time, having her diaper changed, when we tell her no-no, getting dressed, getting her hair fixed, 

Firsts/Milestones:

• Knows where her toes, head, and tummy are!!
• Started wearing pigtails! LOVE it :)
• Dressed up as Minnie Mouse for TLG Halloween Carnival!
• Dressed up as Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz for Halloween and went trunk or treating at the church...cutest Dorothy ever!! Was not into the whole trick or treating this year but loved being outside with everyone and run around. 
• Went to Disney on Ice to see her favorites Mickey & Minnie Mouse with her cousins, Aunt Kristin, Granna, and Mommy!! So fun :)
• Got her first bad virus this month :( Lots of vomit, diarreah, and cuddling with Mommy. 
• Tried coloring for the first time...lets just say we will try again next month. All she wanted to do was eat them!

Rylee {15 months}

Happy 15 months to my sweet Rylee Lynn!!

Growth & Development:

• weight- 23 lbs 12 oz
• height- 29.75 in
• Went to her 15 month check up and poor baby had to get four shots and a finger prick!
• Favorite foods: sting cheese, fruit, cucumbers, yogurt, mum mums, potatoes, any kind of meat, and loves sweets (such a great little eater)
• Drinks about 21oz of milk a day (sucks it down quick)!
• Words: no no, momma, uh oh, ewww, da da/daddy, woah, and her newest baba (baby) and go (she likes to yell it at Mali when we go outside because she hears me tell Mali to go to the bathroom lol).
• Cut another tooth so now she has a total of 8 teeth! Four on the top and four on the bottom. She is still grinding her teeth and became a little beaver baby and gnawed on her wooden crib :(
• Sleeping: Naps once a day for about 1-1.5 hrs and sleeping from about 8pm-6:30/7am. She has gotten SOOO much better at taking naps/going to bed this month. We now just lay her in her bed  without rubbing her back or waiting till she falls asleep and she does perfectly fine! She tosses/turns a lot but always falls asleep on her own!

Favorites:

Rylee loves getting into everything, being sneaky, playing in her new playhouse Mommy found at a garage sale, being outside, running/playing/climbing anywhere and on anything, playing with baby dolls, getting every single book out in her room to 'read', giving high-fives, clapping for herself, practicing her forward rolls, obsessed with shutting any and all doors, likes to throw things away in the trashcan (binky, pacifiers, etc.), swinging, talking to any and everyone (social butterfly), playing with her cousins, snuggling with Mommy & Daddy, watching/dancing to Mickey Mouse, and feeding herself.

Firsts/Milestones:

• Knows where her head and tummy are when you ask her! Smart girl :)
• Started to 'jump' when you tell her (learned from TLG)
• Is such a good helper when cleaning up toys at TLG and at home!
• We had our first cool front come in and Rylee loves it! Finally feels like Fall around here :)
• Took Rylee to the pumpkin patch to take pictures and pick out her very own pumpkin! This was her second time to go but last year she was only about 3 months old so technically it was like her first time ;)

Rylee {14 months)

Happy 14 months to my sweet Rylee Lynn!!
This is such a fun stage right now. It seems as if everyday she is learning new things and her personality is getting bigger and brighter. I love my sweet, funny, smart girl so much! She is the light of my life and is just a ball of joy to be around!

Growth & Development:

• weight- 24 lbs
• Favorite foods: yogurt, eggs, strawberries, grapes, chicken, smoothie drinks, avacado, cucumber, peas, carrots, and any snacks she can get her little hands on.
• Drinks about 21oz of milk a day (sucks it down quick)!
• Words: no no, momma, uh oh, ewww, da da, woah, and a lot of Rylee talk ;)
• Still addicted to her pacifer...we try to only give it to her at nap/bedtime but she can find them anywhere (I think she hides them). Not looking forward to breaking her from them later on..
• Cut another tooth so now she has a total of 8 teeth! Four on the top and four on the bottom. She has also started the terrible habit of grinding..
• Sleeping: Naps once a day for about 1-1.5 hrs and sleeping from about 7:30/8pm-6:30/7am

Favorites:

Rylee loves being super active, running, climbing anything she can, playing outside (all day if she could), playing with Mali (has finally learned how to 'pet' her sweetly, carrying her binkys around, loving on her dolls, getting all her books out to 'read', dancing to DisneyJunior music, stacking toys, bathtime, talking/staring at others (especially kids), getting all the pillows/blankets she can find and play/throw/lay on them, playing in her crib, playing chase, and getting into everything she knows she should NOT be in!

Firsts/Milestones:

• She can now be laid down for a nap/bedtime awake and will fall asleep on her own when we leave the room! Occasionally, for naps we will have to rub her back for a few minutes and then she will fall fast asleep. Major Milestone!!
• Started attending The Little Gym once a week and LOVES it!!
• Began going to the church nursery on Sundays...she did ok (cried some when other kids started crying). Hoping she does better as the weeks go on!
• Turned her car seat around and she is sooo much happier!! Such a BIG girl now :)
• Has started holding my hand<3
• Learned how to climb the slide outside and on the couch by herself :/
• Can dance, smile, give sugars, and shake toys (most of the time) on command!!
• Understands ALOT more these days...if I say go find Daddy or Mali or outside or brush your teeth she knows what/who to look for and where to go!
• No more bottles...YAY!! Rylee now drinks her milk from a sippy cup!
• Met her Great Grandpa Sosbe for the first time
• Gave Mommy her first heart attack when I went to go get her from her nap and found her on the floor NOT in her crib! Thank God she was ok and just had a red mark on her forehead. Her bed is officially lowered as low as it can go...
