Three years old is such a fun age! Rylee is so independent and such a big girl! It definitely has its moments when she is acting like a 'three-nager' but we cannot stay mad at her long when she follows up with "You're my best friend ever" or "I love you". She is bossy, sassy, independent, a leader, and as wild as they come. At times all of these traits can drive me crazy but I just love my sweet girl <3
Favorites: Still obsessed with any and all horses/My Little Pony, Paw Patrol, Mickey Mouse, Lilo & Stitch, playing doctor, swimming, The Little Gym, camps, playing in the big kid class at the YMCA, coloring, puzzles, helping Mommy clean and Daddy in the yard, helping take care of little sister, going to the movies, bowling, dancing (she's got two moves - shaking her leg like Elvis and shaking her booty), playing with her 'twinkle' toys aka tinker toys, singing (twinkle twinkle, abcs, bad blood/Shake it off/Wildest Dreams by T. Swift - we jam out evrytime in the car!), playing with her 'bouncy balls', coloring, dressing up and calling yourself 'Prince Rylee' (you have never been into princesses or dress up much so we might be getting into this phase very soon!), helping me take care of her little sister, singing/dancing in the car with mommy to T.S. shake it off (she calls it shake shake) and bad blood, going to school (she asks t go everyday eventhough she only goes on MWF)
Food: Loves chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, spaghetti and all pasta, carrots, cucumbers, watermelon, strawberries, bananas, yogurt, chick-fil-a, any & all sweets (especially M&Ms, ice cream, and cookies)

(she ALWAYS says this to Rayna lol), in just a minute (her time frame for everything lol - ex: be back in just a minute, I'm going to school in a minute, etc), sketti, hidycups (hiccups), pack pack (backpack), yamals (animals), I'm sorry it was an accent (accident), thats MY baby! (talking about Rayna), You're killing me kid!, You're in big trouble missy! (from Aunt CoCo), Mommy I'm talking to you! (when I am not looking at her), You're so pretty mommy, I do it mysebs (I do it myself) - Miss Independent!, I need a bandaid (everyday she asks for one), no way bullseye instead of no way Jose!
Currently: One of my favorite times of the day is bedtime for more than one reason lol. After I tuck her in I lay down with her to do our nightly chit chat and she is seriously the most random, funniest, and sweetest kid ever! She talks to me about everything (for ex: I have two hands how many do you have Mommy? You're my best friend. That's Rylee's fan. My baby...no touch Mommy. I want to go to school with my horses (backpack). Cat says meow. etc....it goes on and on but I love it.
Rylee is still very much in love with her baby sister. She loves to help me take care of her, checks on her monitor to see if she is asleep or awaks, plays with her, gives her lots of sugars, and is extremely protective of her if anyone besides Mommy or Daddy touches or looks at Rayna (she is quick to say...'that is my baby sister!'). The only thing is that now Rayna can pick up small toys (in reach) Rylee is having to learn to share! Usually I catch her yanking it away saying, "It's all wet!" (from her slobber) or "No baby sissy that is Rylees!". We are working on sharing ;) Love watching their sweet sister bond as they both get bigger!!
Rylee just started preschool and LOVES it! Before school started she asked almost daily if she could go with her new horse backpack to show her teachers her painted nails and play with all the toys! The morning of her first day she was so excited that she could hardly contain herself. All she wanted to do was get dressed in her pretty horse dress (she picked out) and wear her new horsey backpack. Once we got school she walked right on in carrying her teddy bear and wearing her backpack like she new just what to do. When we got into her classroom she went straight for the toys and never looked back! I had to ask for a sugar and hug before we left. Once we picked her up the teacher said she did great and that if all the kids were as good as Rylee then they would have a great school year!! This makes my mommy heart so happy and so proud!! She is such a smart little girl! She loves learning. Right now she can count to 20, can now spell her name (she loves doing this a hundred times a day), knows her abcs, colors, shapes, animals/sounds, and randomly out of the blue I told Mike we need to take the girls to the z-o-o (spelled out so Rylee wouldn't ask me a million times to go) and immediately she says, 'I want to go to the zoo and see the animals!'...we might have a genius on our hands ;) Overall, I couldn't be more proud of my big girl. She loves school & her teachers and that is all I could ever ask for. Her teachers love her too (and why wouldn't they?!) and told me she has the kindest heart and a beautiful smile but that she is a little wild at times and a very busy little girl (all of this is true lol). Can't wait to watch her grow and learn during this first year of school!
