Rylee {10 months}

Happy 10 months to our sweet Rylee Lynn! It is hard to believe you are officially in the double digits now. Your first birthday will be here before we know it! You are the light of my life and I cherish every day/moment that I get to spend with you. I love watching you grow and learn new things. You are the happiest baby in the world and you love to give everyone big smiles when we are out and about. You really are a true gift from God and I love you more than you will ever know!

Growth/Development:

• Weight- 20.5 lbs
• Wearing some 9, 6-12, and 12 month clothes
• Size 3 diapers and just started wearing nighttime size 3 pampers for bedtime since she gets so wet at night.
• Rylee is on a new schedule:
• She wakes up around 7am and watches a little Mickey Mouse then eats a 7 oz bottle
• Two hours later she eats her breakfast (oatmeal and baby food fruit)
• Eats another 7 oz bottle around noon then goes down for her one nap of the day (about 1.5-2 hrs
• When she wakes up she eats a snack (mum-mums, yogurt, goldfish, puffs, cookies, or crackers)
• Two hours later she eats another 7 oz bottle
• Eats dinner with us (baby food veggies and table food)
• Eats her last 7 oz bottle before bedtime then sleeps for 11-12 hrs
• Getting stronger at standing...about 10 seconds is her record!

Favorites:

• She LOVES hearing herself talk, watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, stealing our remote, 'playing' with Mali, getting into things she knows she is not supposed to (burp cloths, chargers, dog food, and dog toys), 'reading' her books, playing with her dolls, shopping with Mommy in the cart, exploring EVERYTHING, and being outside (in her car or pool).

Firsts/Milestones:

• Started saying 'bye-bye' (still working on the hand motion), said 'ma' a couple times, and loves to say 'na' for no (says it just like I do LOL)!
• Started giving high-fives to Mommy
• Eating more table foods (loves rice, beans, noodles, cucumbers, etc)
• Celebrated Mommy's first Mother's Day<3
• Played and in her first swimming pool with Mommy & Daddy...LOVED it!  

Rylee {9 months}

Happy 9 months to our sweet Rylee Lynn! You never cease to amaze me with your curiosity and excitement about everything. You light up every room with your contagious and beautiful smile. We are so blessed to call you ours. I love you more than words can say...forever and always<3

Growth/Development:

• Weight- 19.5 lbs
• Height- 27.25 in
• Wearing some 6-9 but mostly 9 and 6-12 month clothes
• Size 3 diapers 
• Rylee is still eating 5 bottles a day, oatmeal/fruit in the morning, and veggies at dinner time. Loves all food!! Tried cheerios, refried beans, strawberries, mum-mums, and mashed potatoes for the first time this month.
• Majorly MOBILE-crawling everywhere very fast and climbing up everything!
• Takes a nap in the morning (about 30-45 min) and a longer nap in the afternoon (1-2 hrs).
• Plays more independently now

Favorites:

• She LOVES trying to clap (just waves her hands around), climbing up on ALL furniture, bath time, books, crawling FAST everywhere, watching Disney Junior in the mornings (Mickey Mouse is her favorite), playing with Mali, swinging, being tickled on your tummy/arms, and playing with her new big girl toys.

Firsts/Milestones:

• Got your first two teeth on the bottom! So cute :)
• Met the Easter Bunny for the first time and all smiles this year!
• Celebrated Easter by going to church, hunting Easter eggs, and spending the day with family!
• Stayed with Daddy & MeeMe while Mommy went on a trip to PA for five whole days. 
• Got your first cold then you gave it to Mommy :(
• Got your toes painted by Mommy for the first time...cutest thing ever!!
  

Rylee {8 months}

Happy 8 months to our sweet Rylee Lynn! I can't believe I have an 8 month old! I say this a lot but I really love the age she is at right now. She is such a joy and makes us laugh all the time. She is a constant reminder of how truly blessed we are. Love her with all my heart<3

Growth/Development:

• Weight- 18 lbs
• Wearing 6-9, 9, and 6-12 month clothes
• Size 3 diapers 
• Rylee is eating 5 bottles a day (no more nursing), oatmeal/fruit in the morning, and veggies at dinner time. Loves all food!!
• Moving everywhere (no crawling yet but she is scooting and rolling all over the floor)!
• She is so smart!! She has started copying me when I make a fishy face or sniff out loud...it is the cutest thing!!
• Takes a nap in the morning (45min-1 hr) and a longer nap in the afternoon (1.5-2 hrs).

Favorites:

• She LOVES watching Disney Junior in the mornings, 'driving' the car with Daddy, being outside in the beautiful spring weather, going on walks, drinking from her sippy cup, shopping in the cart with Mommy, hearing herself (talks and screams in her high pitch voice all the time LOL), watching other people/kids (major people watcher), exploring new things (our closet, outside, and things that are not toys LOL), and making her fishy face!

Firsts/Milestones:

• Crawling!!
• Beginning to pull up on anything she can get her hands on
• Celebrated her first St. Patricks Day wearing a cute green outfit of course :)
• Now sitting up in the bathtub instead of lying back but likes to try and climb out
• Beginning to hold her bottle on her own at times
• Can go from laying on her tummy to sitting up on her own!
• Went to the park and saw the bluebonnets!

Rylee learned how to crawl!! :)

Rylee {7 months}

Happy 7 months to our sweet Rylee Lynn! We love you more than you know. You are such a little character and I love this stage you are in right now! I feel like the time is flying by and you will be 1 before we know it. Slow down sweet girl...

Growth/Development:

• Weight- 17 lbs
• Wearing 6 & some 6-9 month clothes
• Still in size 2 diapers (almost size 3)
• Rylee is eating 6-7 oz every 3 hrs during the day (eats 5 times). I am nursing her twice a day and the other three feedings are bottles. She is also eating oatmeal in the morning and vegetables for supper.
• Sits up straight and tall!
• Talks ALL the time!! Sounds like she is saying hi, hey, da dad.
• Loves to play, interact, and watch her big cousins
• Rolling all over the place and doing back bends to see upside down LOL!
• Rylee has started rocking back and forth on her tummy, scooting around on the floor, and has gotten on her knees a couple of times trying to move or reach her toys. I can tell she wants to move so bad and she probably will be crawling sooner than later!

Favorites:

• She LOVES when we sing to her (especially the itsy bitsy spider), to talk, to close things (lids on her toys), to be tickled, she likes to be thrown in the air & hang upside down by Daddy, playing on our bed, jumping in her exersacauer, eating solids in her high chair, siting up like a big girl in the cart while shopping, and playing with her cousins.

Firsts/Milestones:

• Celebrated her first Valentines with Mommy & Daddy
• Tried fruit for the first time and loved it!
• Met her extended family at our family reunion this month
• Went to the zoo for the first time to see all the animals (especially the elephants)
• Rode like a big girl in the shopping cart
• Got her first black eye from falling out of her high chair :(
• Ate vegetables for the first time and LOVED it (carrots, sweet potatoes, sweet peas, squash, & green beans)! She can power a whole little jar down in 5 minutes. She's a good little eater :)

She is so close to moving! :)

Rylee loves shaking her head back and forth. So funny!

Rylee (6 months}

Happy 6 months to our sweet Rylee Lynn! Cannot believe you are half way to being one year old. Time sure seems to fly by since you have come into our lives...wouldn't have it any other way. You are little Miss Personality these days making us smile and laugh ALL the time. I love this stage you are at but not as much as I Love You<3

Growth/Development:

• Weight- 16.6 lbs
• Height- 25.5 in
• Wearing 3-6 and 6 month clothes
• Size 2 diapers
• Rylee is still eating 6 oz every 3 hrs during the day (eats 5 times). She gets very distracted when Mike or Mali are nearby...loves being in the know of everything! She also just started eating rice cereal and oatmeal for the first time. She seems to like it but as soon as the spoon leaves her mouth she instantly puts her hands in her mouth making a HUGE mess :) 
• Plays with toys and puts everything in her mouth
• Loves to hear herself talk
• Rolling all over the place and getting stronger at sitting up.She is so squirmy when changing her diaper and clothes!
• Might be teething...she tries to eat everything (toys, hands, etc)

Favorites:

• She LOVES bath time, peeking to see us out of her crib when she wakes up from her naps, car rides, playing in her jumper, sitting up to play with all her new Christmas toys, TALKING all the time, being loved on, and playing with Mali (she loves her puppy)!

Firsts/Milestones:

• Sitting up on her own!!
• Celebrated her first Christmas with us and New Years Eve at her Aunt Tamera's house (slept though all the fireworks)
• Went to Kynlee's 3rd birthday party and dressed up as a fairy
• Went to see her cousin do gymnastics for the first time

Love her and that sweet gummy grin :)

Rylee {5 months}

Happy 5 months to our sweet Rylee Lynn! Hard to believe you are almost halfway to a year old. This month you have been so much fun! You have the cutest personality, always moving & talking, and you bring a smile to our face everyday. We love you more than you know<3

Growth/Development:

• Weight- 15 lbs
• Wearing 3-6 month clothes
• Size 2 diapers
• Rylee is still eating 4 oz every 3 hrs during the day (eats 5 times)
• She has her last feeding around 6:00pm and wakes up around 6:00am 
• Rylee is a busy bee! She moves constantly...rolling, turning, and even trying to stand!
• Reaches for toys to play with
• Talks ALL the time :) Loves to hear her voice!

Favorites:

• She LOVES bath time, being outside, watching her mobiles, walking around, playing with toys that light up and play music

Firsts/Milestones:

• Rolled over from back to tummy while playing on her mat!!
• Spent Christmas with MeeMe, Poppy, Granny, Granna, & Pops
• Met Santa for the first time

Rylee {4 months}

Happy 4 months to our sweet Rylee Lynn! You are the best thing in our lives and we feel extremely lucky to be your parents. You have changed so much over the past four months and our love for you grows stronger and deeper with each day. Thank you for being the best baby in the world and bringing so much joy to your Daddy and I. We love you forever and always<3

Growth/Development:

• Weight- 15lbs
• Wearing 3 and 3-6 month clothes
• Just moved up to size 2 diapers
• Rylee is still eating 4 oz every 2-3 hrs during the day (eats 6 times)
• She has her last feeding around 7:00pm and wakes up between 6:00-7:00am 
• Losing more of her hair (she looks bald compared to how she looked when she was born)!
• She is getting way more active!
• Reaches and grabs things in sight

Favorites:

• She LOVES bath time, being outside, watching her mobiles, sitting up in her Bumbo chair, her binky, staring at Mali (she smiles so big), and staring at cellphones & computers!

Firsts/Milestones:

• Rolled over from tummy to back while in her crib!!
• Had her first sleepover at Aunt Mera's house 
• Dressed up as the cutest Minnie Mouse for Halloween
• Major drooler these days!!
• Has been spitting up more than usual this month after she eats
• Had her second cold :(
• Giggled for the first time while playing with Daddy...sweetest noise ever!!!
