Rylee (6 months}

Happy 6 months to our sweet Rylee Lynn! Cannot believe you are half way to being one year old. Time sure seems to fly by since you have come into our lives...wouldn't have it any other way. You are little Miss Personality these days making us smile and laugh ALL the time. I love this stage you are at but not as much as I Love You<3

Growth/Development:

• Weight- 16.6 lbs
• Height- 25.5 in
• Wearing 3-6 and 6 month clothes
• Size 2 diapers
• Rylee is still eating 6 oz every 3 hrs during the day (eats 5 times). She gets very distracted when Mike or Mali are nearby...loves being in the know of everything! She also just started eating rice cereal and oatmeal for the first time. She seems to like it but as soon as the spoon leaves her mouth she instantly puts her hands in her mouth making a HUGE mess :) 
• Plays with toys and puts everything in her mouth
• Loves to hear herself talk
• Rolling all over the place and getting stronger at sitting up.She is so squirmy when changing her diaper and clothes!
• Might be teething...she tries to eat everything (toys, hands, etc)

Favorites:

• She LOVES bath time, peeking to see us out of her crib when she wakes up from her naps, car rides, playing in her jumper, sitting up to play with all her new Christmas toys, TALKING all the time, being loved on, and playing with Mali (she loves her puppy)!

Firsts/Milestones:

• Sitting up on her own!!
• Celebrated her first Christmas with us and New Years Eve at her Aunt Tamera's house (slept though all the fireworks)
• Went to Kynlee's 3rd birthday party and dressed up as a fairy
• Went to see her cousin do gymnastics for the first time

Love her and that sweet gummy grin :)

Rylee {5 months}

Happy 5 months to our sweet Rylee Lynn! Hard to believe you are almost halfway to a year old. This month you have been so much fun! You have the cutest personality, always moving & talking, and you bring a smile to our face everyday. We love you more than you know<3

Growth/Development:

• Weight- 15 lbs
• Wearing 3-6 month clothes
• Size 2 diapers
• Rylee is still eating 4 oz every 3 hrs during the day (eats 5 times)
• She has her last feeding around 6:00pm and wakes up around 6:00am 
• Rylee is a busy bee! She moves constantly...rolling, turning, and even trying to stand!
• Reaches for toys to play with
• Talks ALL the time :) Loves to hear her voice!

Favorites:

• She LOVES bath time, being outside, watching her mobiles, walking around, playing with toys that light up and play music

Firsts/Milestones:

• Rolled over from back to tummy while playing on her mat!!
• Spent Christmas with MeeMe, Poppy, Granny, Granna, & Pops
• Met Santa for the first time

Rylee {4 months}

Happy 4 months to our sweet Rylee Lynn! You are the best thing in our lives and we feel extremely lucky to be your parents. You have changed so much over the past four months and our love for you grows stronger and deeper with each day. Thank you for being the best baby in the world and bringing so much joy to your Daddy and I. We love you forever and always<3

Growth/Development:

• Weight- 15lbs
• Wearing 3 and 3-6 month clothes
• Just moved up to size 2 diapers
• Rylee is still eating 4 oz every 2-3 hrs during the day (eats 6 times)
• She has her last feeding around 7:00pm and wakes up between 6:00-7:00am 
• Losing more of her hair (she looks bald compared to how she looked when she was born)!
• She is getting way more active!
• Reaches and grabs things in sight

Favorites:

• She LOVES bath time, being outside, watching her mobiles, sitting up in her Bumbo chair, her binky, staring at Mali (she smiles so big), and staring at cellphones & computers!

Firsts/Milestones:

• Rolled over from tummy to back while in her crib!!
• Had her first sleepover at Aunt Mera's house 
• Dressed up as the cutest Minnie Mouse for Halloween
• Major drooler these days!!
• Has been spitting up more than usual this month after she eats
• Had her second cold :(
• Giggled for the first time while playing with Daddy...sweetest noise ever!!! 

Rylee {3 months}

Happy 3 months to our sweet Rylee Lynn! I cannot believe you are a quarter of the way to being 1 year old! I know I should not think of it that way but it just seems like time is flying by now that you are here! You continue to amaze me everyday. You are so smart, beautiful, happy, and you have the cutest personality these days! I feel so blessed and lucky that God chose us to be your parents! We love you forever and always<3

Growth/Development:

• Weight- 13lbs
• Wearing 0-3, 3, and some 3-6 month clothes
• Still wearing size 1 diapers
• Rylee is able to lift her head so good! She has great head/neck control. 
• Talks, coos, and smiles ALL the time :)
• Kicks all the time! I think this is her way of playing :)
• Grasps small toys near her and our shirts when holding her
• Has found her hands and always wants to suck on them or her paci
• Getting good at tummy time and enjoying it more than she used to
• Rylee is still eating 4 oz every 2-3 hrs during the day (eats about 6 times)
• She wakes up around 7:30am to eat then plays on her mat for a while. About an hour later she is due for her first nap of the day.
• She is such a good sleeper at night! Her last feeding is around 8pm and then she is out! She sleeps in her crib for about 11 hours!! :) This makes mommy & daddy very happy!!

Favorites:

• Rylee loves bath time (splashes a lot), car rides, her thumb/fist, pacifier, being outside, starring at mommy while we exchange facial expressions, playing on her mat in the mornings, music, mobiles, etc.

Firsts/Milestones:

• Went on her first family vacation to Aunt Mera's lake house!
• Went on her first boat ride (slept the entire time)
• Went to the pumpkin patch 
• Started sleeping with her elephant binky
• Blows bubbles all the time!
• Started making clicking noises in the morning
• Sat up in her bumbo chair! She enjoyed it but tends to lean to one side :)
• Sleeping through the night (11 hours)!!
• Getting much better at tummy time
• Lifts head like a champ :)
• Beginning to talk, coo, giggle more
• Has found her arms and legs. She kicks and moves them all the time!

Rylee {2 months}

Happy 2 months to our sweet Rylee Lynn! I cannot believe two whole months have gone by since you entered our world. You have changed so much and amaze us everyday. We love you all the way to the moon and back sweet girl<3 Thank you for making the last two months the best time of our lives!!

Growth/Development:

• Weight- 12.3 lbs
• Height- 23 1/4in
• Wearing 0-3 and 3 month clothes
• Still wearing size 1 diapers
• Rylee is able to lift her head a lot these days during tummy time and when being held
• Makes direct eye contact and follows us with her eyes
• Grasping objects, our fingers, and our shirts
• Loves to smile and has started giggling/making cooing noises
• Rylee is eating about 4 oz every 2-3 hrs during the day 
• She takes a bath around 7pm then her last feeing is around 9-10pm
• She has been sleeping in her crib between 6-9 hours at night and even slept 10 hrs one night!

Favorites:

• Rylee loves bath time, her paci, napping in her swing, being rocked to sleep, cuddling with mommy & daddy, playing on her mat in the morning, starring at the ceiling fan, car rides, and walks. 

Firsts/Milestones:

• Went to visit Granna & Pops, went to church, and went to your first restaurant (Ruthies)
• Sleeping mostly through the night or waking only once to eat
• Sleeping in her crib
• Making better eye contact
• Lifting head 

Rylee's Newborn Pics

When Rylee was less than two weeks old we had an amazing photographer come to our house to take her very first professional pictures! Most photographers prefer for newborns to be asleep so they can position them in all sorts of cute poses but Rylee, of course, was wide eyed and alert the majority of the time...LOL! Even though she did not cooperate very well the photographer managed to capture the most adorable and perfect pictures of our sweet little girl (both awake and asleep). Thank you so much Lisa! We LOVE how they turned out.

Rylee {1 month}

Happy 1 month to my sweet Rylee Lynn! I cannot believe a whole month has already flown by. Even though it has been a very sleepless month I would not have changed it for anything. You are such a good baby!!
You love to be held, rocked, suck on your paci, go for walks outside, go for rides in the car, watch your mobile, listen to music, play on your mat in the mornings, and visit with your cousins! This month you have been eating 4 oz every 3 hours and sleeping between 4-5 hours at night. You love to nap after you eat during the day (especially on mommy or daddy). You smile all the time, follow us with your eyes, are very alert, have started to lift your head, and recognize our voices.
At your one month check up you measured 21.5 in long and weighed 9 lb 14 oz! You are too long for newborn clothes and are officially wearing 0-3 month clothes now. You are a growing girl!!
Thank you for making your daddy and I the happiest new parents in the world! We love you all the way to the moon and back<3
